Mechanics

Play through the zones smashing enemies until you die.
Change your stats by switching modes.
When you do eventually die, you are awarded with a weapon.
Increase your stats after each run to go farther next time.

• HP bar is the red one on the left side of the screen.
• Stamina bar is on the right.
• Orbs double the stat of their color, only one can be activated at a time.
• Your character's color indicates which orb is active.

About

This game was created for BigMode Jam 2023, in the first year of competition.

Facet Fury is a top down, shoot 'em up prospective, active incremental game which has the player counter enemy colors and builds by switching their character's mode and collecting powerups.

You play the role of Lameiel, a member of a civilization of polyhedra. This octahedron has been imbued with the STARS, a cosmic energy source which powers the race of "Astropolya"; who have recently fragmented your childhood best friend and lover into countless shards.

Consumed with rage, you have travelled to their home planet to enact your revenge.

They have taken everything from you.
Now you will take everything from them.
