Orros is a superhero-themed standalone tabletop roleplaying game created by a solo developer, both author and artist. The game is designed to be played in the "theater of the mind", with all checks using a single d10. The book features a striking neon-line aesthetic throughout, from a single independent creator. This 170+ page core rulebook provides everything needed to build a world of superhero fiction to tell your stories and take action.

Unlike other superhero games, character creation in Orros is an event. You are given the option to either create a customized superhero character or be bestowed powers from a roleplay event called "The Chair", which defines a random origin. I encourage you to create a real comic book hero or villain who didn't get to choose their powers.

Your character starts with 5 of the available 76 unique backgrounds, and with up to 5 of 100 distinct powers planned to vastly expand over the game's lifetime. The game features 35 character skills, with a system that improves with each skill use. As well as a logarithmic wealth system that turns money into its own superpower. Orros's d10 system is built to allow you to roll anything against anything and encourages lateral thinking.

The Orros core rulebook is a living document and will not require additional paid supplemental material. When new rules, lore, mechanics, and expanded content are introduced, they will be added directly into this single, expanding core rulebook. Buying in now guarantees you free access to all future updates with the most generous use of the word "lifetime". As the game expands into its content roadmap, detailed in the book, its price will occasionally increase to recover development costs. The earlier you get the book, the cheaper it will be, sans maybe the rare deeply discounted sale.
